Halcyon House to hold weekly GriefShare meetings
Feb. 19, 2023 3:11 pm
Halcyon House in Washington announced that it will host weekly meetings called GriefShare at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays starting Feb. 23.
After a funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. However, your grief continues and you feel alone.
Often friends and family want to help you, but do not know how. That is the reason for GriefShare. Caring people, who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives, lead GriefShare. We understand how you feel because we have been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.
GriefShare is a network of 15,000+ churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support. The program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing from your grief.
Where to begin. You are welcome to begin attending our GriefShare group at any point. Each session is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will be able to pick up any sessions you missed in our next 13-week cycle.
