Hannah Frey Live on The Square Saturday

The free Live on the Square music concerts return 6-9 p.m. Saturday evening in Fairfield's Central Park.

Hannah Frey, a singer/songwriter based in Iowa City, will be performing.

While her style is rooted in the folk genre, influences of indie, pop, and western music shine through to create Frey's unique sound. Her introspective lyrics span modern romance, emotional growth and the turbulence of life as a 20-something.

Frey began writing music in her early teens and made her introduction to performing live in eastern Iowa with her parents Doug and Lisa Frey in their family band 'The Sweet Potato Freys.” Now, at 23 years old, she is currently working on her solo debut album, 'White Picket Fence” which is being recorded at Flat Black Studios and set to release this fall.
