Harp Players start rehearsals

Rehearsals are underway for Neil Simon?s Rumors, the newest Harp Players Theatre Group/Washington Community Theater production. The plot concerns four couples who gather at the home of a friend for a dinner party, and everything goes wrong.

?It?s a very funny show,? said director Ed Colby. ?We?re having a lot of fun with it already, and we hope local audiences will truly enjoy it.?

In the cast are Lori Wiley, Greg Wiley, Lisa Krotz, Mike Tschantz, Cindy Seberg, Tom Dawson, Brandi Glaspie, Michael McNurlen, Dan Kitchen and Elise Crone.

The Harp Players is a group of local performers who have been putting on comedies and donating their profits to local charities since 1999.

Harp Players? profits from this production will be donated to Camp REECE, a camp for people with disabilities held annually at Lake Darling.

Performances are March 10, 11, 17, and 18 at the Washington Community Center.
