Harris receives her Ph.D.
MaryBeth Harris, daughter of Drs. Jim and Ann Harris, received her Ph.D. in English Literature from Purdue University Aug. 6, 2016.
Her dissertation was "Women Writers and the Genealogy of the Gentlemen: Masculinity, Authority and Male Characters in the 18th Century Novels by Women.
MaryBeth has accepted a faculty position as a continuing lecturer for the Purdue Language and Cultural Exchange (PACE).
