Hay Bales 4-H Club met March 30 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.
Vice president Rachel Shaw called the meeting to order. Nine members answered the roll-call question: ?What did you or will you do on spring break??
Carrigan Haile read the minutes from the last meeting. Ethan Tillis gave the treasurer?s report.
The club decided to tour Goodwill to learn about the store and how it helps the community in August.
Rachel Shaw read thank-you cards. The club had given a basket of items to the staff of the Jefferson County ISU Extension Office and plates of cookies to the Jefferson County Fair Board and the Jefferson County Youth Committee.
The club members signed a card for Jefferson County 4-H Youth Coordinator Karen Blakely, whose mother passed away.
Rachel Shaw reported that she had interviewed for the State Council in Ames.
Mickey and Tyler Reynolds gave a presentation on tae kwon do. Gabi Rutherford, Rachel Shaw and Chance Scearcy are to give presentations at the April 27 meeting. Carrigan Haile, Aaron Shaw and Ethan Tillis are to give presentations at the May 25 meeting.
