HCHC Foundation to host shoe sale

The Henry County Health Center Foundation will sponsor a Shoe Sale Fundraiser on Thursday, July 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Health Education Center (HEC) at HCHC. Brown’s Shoe Fit will be on hand with their portable racks filled with a variety of comfortable shoes, sandals, and other footwear.

Mark Hempen, HCHC Foundation Director, says there is a great need for comfortable shoes at the health center. “We recognize that much of our staff spends a great deal of time on their feet, so quality, comfortable shoes are a must. Many members of our community also require comfortable shoes, that’s why I’m happy to have Brown’s Shoe Fit here for this event.”

The HEC is located near the center of the health center, between Laboratory Services and the Park Terrace Cafeteria. The Shoe Sale is open to the general public. Certain masking requirements apply. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. A portion of the proceeds from this sale will be used to support programs of the HCHC Foundation.
