President Judy White opened the Jefferson County Health Center Auxiliary Spring Brunch with a booming ?Aloha.?
Following this theme, the tables were adorned with brightly colored handsewn centerpiece placemats, spring plants, and many authentic seashells. Each of the 81 guests received a lei which completed the feeling of being at the beach.
The tropical menu included vegetarian egg casserole, porcupine meatballs, skewered fresh fruit, assorted sweet rolls and fruit punch. Per their tradition, the auxiliary officers served their guests wearing bright colored hair clips.
Jan Hunnerdosse accompanied her voice student, Julia Fritz, with several solos.
Concluding the program was the introduction of the outgoing and incoming JCHC Auxiliary officers for 2013-14. The new officers include: Sharyn Workman, president; Barb Gaumer, first vice president; Judith Ward, second vice president; Colleen Kimble, secretary; Kthy Gerard, assistant secretary; Jean Keller, treasurer; and Emily Ledger, assistant treasurer. White was the past president.
