Healthy meal planning on a budget

ISU Extension and Outreach?s Washington County office provided materials with the theme of healthy meal planning on a budget for the HACAP Housing program recently. Each month HACAP holds Lifeskills/Resident meetings to teach skills and offer a social opportunity. Here HACAP Family Support Worker Nikki Streeter, standing left, and Operations Manager RenElla Crawford, right, review the materials provided by the Extension Office with members of the class. Those attending the meeting also brought samples of a dish they wanted to share with the group, along with the recipe.
