Helen Marie Burrell, 90, of Danville, died on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at the Danville Care Center.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m., with the family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home, with Bishop Dell Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Aspen ...

Helen Marie Burrell, 90, of Danville, died on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at the Danville Care Center.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m., with the family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home, with Bishop Dell Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established. Prugh-Thielen Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
Burrell was born on Dec. 17, 1925, in Burlington, the daughter of Ervin George and Goldie Marie Halfley Remaly. On May 4, 1941, she married Clinton Eugene ?Gene? Burrell, in Kahoka, Mo.
She worked for Sylvania, Champion, IAAP, and for Danville Food Mart.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She enjoyed raising chickens, square dancing, playing the organ, crocheting, sewing, and caring for her family and friends.
Burrell is survived by two sons, Lucky (Barbara) Burrell, of Middletown; and Jay (Christa) Burrell, of Burlington; one daughter, Dorothy Mears, of Burlington; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie Diercks, of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her two sons, Edward and Ray Burrell.
