Henry County Conservation hosts escape rooms

MT. PLEASANT — The Henry County Conservation department is holding an “escape the Woods” in two parts on July 7 and 21, mixing the wizarding world with a Harry Potter-themed day.

Head to the park where Wizarding World meets Conservation World as we walk along the trails solving puzzles, finding clues, making items (to keep) and competing with your house to earn points.

House teams will be divided at the time of event based on attendance. Part 1 is July 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Part 2 is July 21 also from 6 to 8 p.m.

These programs are for adults; however, kids age 14 through 17 may attend with a participating adult.

Fees are $8 per participant and preregistration is due via mycountyparks.org on or before June 30 at 5 p.m. for Part 1 and July 14 at 5 p.m. is the deadline for Part 2.

Note: Both of these programs are independent of the other and you do not have to attend both nor is one a prerequisite for the other.
