Henry County Museum to present history of the telephone

Learn about the history of the telephone and telephone operators in a free presentation by Chris Ricciotti, curator of the Rockland, Maryland Telephone Museum.
His program, 'Weavers of Speech”, will be given on Saturday, June 15, at 2 p.m., at the Henry County Museum, 203 North White Street in Mt. Pleasant. The museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m., that day. In honor of Iowa Museum Week, all attendees will receive a vintage Mt. Pleasant 'Our Town” coffee mug. Refreshments will be served.
