Henry County Public Health offers back-to-school immunization clinic Tuesday
Jul. 28, 2021 5:12 pm
Henry County Public Health is holding an all-day immunization clinic and encourages students to get their back to school shots early to beat the rush.
The special clinic will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Henry County Public Health is located at 106 N. Jackson St. Suite 103 in Mt. Pleasant.
Immunizations are needed before going into Kindergarten, 7th and 12th grades. These are walk-in clinics but there is a new process to check-in before you go.
Visit HealthyHenryCounty.org/immunizations or download the Net Check In – Henry County free app. You can view the current wait time, check-in, and will then be alerted you when it’s time to come inside. This will help reduce waiting room crowds. Only bring children needing services, and if you or your child are ill, Public Health encourages you to stay home. Adults not vaccinated against COVID-19 should wear a mask and practice social distancing while inside.
In addition to these special clinics, regular immunization clinics are held on Tuesdays from 9-11a.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-4 p.m., and the first and third Thursday of the month from 1-6 p.m. For questions, call Henry County Public Health at 319-385-0779.
