Henry County Women 4 Women group donates to women with cancer
Katie Mertens, representing the Henry County Women 4 Women organization, presented a gift of 50 canvas/mesh bags filled with essential items to Jenni Mullenix of the Henry County Health Center Infusion Unit.
The Henry County Women 4 Women organization made the donation for women going through cancer treatment. It also gave the hospital’s infusion unit vouchers to purchase wigs.
Earlier this summer the organization hosted a Women 4 Women fundraiser which included a golf tournament, bridge and table games followed by a dinner for participants.
