Highland School Board to meet

The Highland School Board will have two meetings Monday, Sept. 14, in the high school board room.

The first meeting will begin at 6 p.m. It will be the annual meeting. Items on the agenda for that meeting include: review of financial report, review of annual transportation report, approve official depositories for 2015-16 and approve annual appointments.

The second meeting will be the organizational meeting. Items on the agenda include: reviewing the election results from Sept. 8, administer the oath of office to newly elected directors, elect president and vice-president for 2015-16, appoint board committee members for 2015-16, discussion/action on adult lunch prices for 2015-16, discussion action on Grant Wood AEA District 6 candidate for election, discussion/action on raising substitute teacher pay, discussion/action on approval of supervision pay, discussion/action requesting modified allowable growth and supplemental aid for a negative special education balance, discussion/action on boiler replacement competitive quotes and board and administration reports.
