On April 16-17, the Highland Drama students will perform not just one, but two children?s plays at the Highland elementary schools.
The first entry, ?The Emperor?s New Crème Brulee,? is a sweet but sassy adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, ?The Emperor?s New Clothes.?
The second is a tasty intermission tidbit, ?Happily Ever After?s Top Chef? which features a magical cooking show with fairytale guests such as Rumpelstiltskin, Prince Charming, Pied Piper, and even the Three Bears. Written by Lavinia Roberts, this delightful skit duo will entertain the whole family but not too heavily before bedtime.
Thursday, April 16, the Highland Traveling Theater will be at the Ainsworth Elementary gym, then on Friday, April 17, move to the Riverside Elementary gym with evening performances at 6:30 p.m. The house will open at 6 p.m.
