Hillcrest Academy to host ‘Christmas With The Chosen’

Hillcrest Academy in rural Kalona will be hosting a showing of the film “Christmas With The Chosen: The Messengers” on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. The film will be shown in Celebration Hall, the school’s 550-seat auditorium.

“We expect to give viewers the same experience as seeing it in theaters,” said a news release from the school. “If possible, tickets should be purchased ahead of time at hillcrestravens.org/thechosen. Hillcrest Academy is not making any money off this showing and wants as many people to be able to see this important film.”

Alumni Night

Hillcrest Academy will host the annual Alumni Night in-person again on Tuesday, Dec. 21 with games versus Highland tipping off at 4:30 pm. Prizes will be given away throughout the evening along with alumni and student activities during the halftimes of the varsity games.
