Hillsboro cancels soup supper, craft show

The Hillsboro Fire Department's annual soup supper normally held in October and craft show held in November have been canceled this year due to the current health pandemic. In a news release, the fire department apologized for any inconvenience this may cause but said it 'feels the health and safety of the fire department members and community members who would attend these events are more important than the fundraisers at this time.” No decision has been made on any 2021 fundraiser such as the pancake supper normally held in March.
