The Hillsboro Fire Department is sponsoring a free-will donation breakfast Saturday, May 1, from 6 a.m. to noon at the Hillsboro City Hall/Fire Station at 105 E. Commercial St. in Hillsboro.
The firemen and firewomen will be serving scrambled eggs, sausage links, hash browns, and pancakes along with orange juice, apple juice, whole and 2% milk and chocolate milk. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of a better brush truck and more equipment. This will help improve their ability to protect you and your property and also help improve the department's ISO rating, which will in turn help your homeowner's insurance costs go down in the future, if you live in our fire district.
