Hillsboro Hall closed for holidays

The Hillsboro Lighting Contest was Saturday, Dec. 8. Here are the winners: First Place - Josh and Kelly Zachmeyer ($15); Second Place - Patty Duncan ($10) and Third Place - Kelly Carter ($5). Congratulations to all the winners!
The Hillsboro City Hall will be closed for the upcoming holidays. They will be closed Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Dec. 26 which is their normal day to be closed. It will also will be closed Monday, Dec. 31 and Tuesday, Jan. 1.
There is a new city clerk training with Nancy. Her name is Gloria Villanueva and she will have new hours beginning Wednesday, Jan. 2. The new hours are: Mondays from 12 (noon) to 6 p.m.; Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Fridays. Also city hall will be closed on all major holidays throughout the year.
