In other news, the families of the late Cleo and Mamie (Wilson) Watson held their annual Watson reunion on Sunday, Aug. 12, at the Hillsboro Community Center.
Those attending from Fort Madison were Eileen (Watson) Harper, Ron and Carol Harper; from Stockport Wayne L. Watson and Jan Ward; from Mt. Pleasant Michael Watson, Joe and Nicole Syfert and their children Emerson, Peyton and Kyndall; from Salem Jerad and Lisa Syfert and their children Colton, Charlie, Ruby and Livvie (Elizabeth), Doyle and Nancy Syfert, Jake and Angie Syfert and their children Lily, Tucker and Kayla, Jamie Orr and children Emily, Haylee and Henry; from Hillsboro Gene and Linda Carter.
Next year?s reunion is planned for the Sunday closest to the late Cleo and Mamie (Wilson) Watson?s wedding anniversary, Aug. 13.
