Historic homes tour in Mt. Pleasant to feature Monroe Street

The Henry County Heritage Trust will be sponsoring ?Mansions on East Monroe?, a 2017 Historic House Tour.

The tour is set for Sunday, April 30, 2017, from 1 to 4 p.m., on the 400 Block of East Monroe Street, in Mt. Pleasant.

Tickets are available at each house the day of the tour. Participants may purchase tickets and begin the tour at any house they wish.

Properties included on the tour include:

?406 East Monroe Street, owned by Kent and Pat White, built circa 1905 by Harry and Maud Ambler

?404 East Monroe Street, owned by Brian Pope, built circa 1897 by Harry and Maud Ambler

?402 East Monroe Street, owned by Doug and Barb Kennedy, built circa 1906 by Dr. Alfred J. and Grace Punton

?400 East Monroe Street, owned by Don and Sara LeBlanc, built circa 1893 by Rev. Thomas J. and Eliza Myers
