The Washington County Historical Society executive board met at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Washington Public Library. Six members attended, and Ferd Marie was presiding officer.

The Washington County Historical Society executive board met at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Washington Public Library. Six members attended, and Ferd Marie was presiding officer.
A date and location for the annual meeting still has to be decided. The Archaeological Society will send someone to Conger House in April to evaluate the rock collection. A mini grant request will be submitted to the Riverboat Foundation for archival materials in which to store the Historical Society?s pictures and records. Mike Zahs announced that all tickets are sold for the premiere performances of the Brinton Films on March 6-7 at the Ainsworth Opera House.
The next meeting will be at 9 a.m., March 26, at the Washington Public Library.
