Historical society meets

Washington County Historical Society executive Board members met at 9 a.m., Sept. 27, at Conger House in Washington. Ferd Marie was presiding officer, and eight members attended.
The members were reminded that Oct. 21 will be the last chance to see the World War I exhibit. With free admission, the Historical Society has had a successful summer. Several projects in the house need to be finished, and a committee has been formed to work on the carriage house project. It was decided to have Washington County photographers and photography for the 2019 exhibit.
The next meeting will be held at 9 a.m., Oct. 25, at Conger House.
