Homemade holiday gift making at Oakland Mills Nov. 18

The Henry County Conservation Department will be hosting a 'Homemade Holiday Beauty Bags” event at the Oakland Mills Nature Center on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. This activity is part of the At the Park 2018 Creative Nature series.

Guests will be encouraged to make their own beauty products and control the ingredients, satisfaction and peace of mind about exactly what they are putting on the body. Participants can expect to learn a few techniques and take home a gift bag for themselves or to give as a holiday present. There will be at least five items to make and take. Fees and preregistration are due via mycountyparks on or before the new deadline date of Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. Ages 10 through adult are welcome. There is a fee associated with this event.
