Honor Flight set for May 19
The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight will conduct its second flight of the 2015 season on Tuesday, May 19. This will be the 20th flight since the group began operations in 2009.
On this flight will be 83 veterans plus their guardians. Of the 83, eight are from WW II.
The flight departs at 7 a.m. Veterans and guardians will begin checking in at 5:15 to 5:30 a.m. for processing.

The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight will conduct its second flight of the 2015 season on Tuesday, May 19. This will be the 20th flight since the group began operations in 2009.
On this flight will be 83 veterans plus their guardians. Of the 83, eight are from WW II.
The flight departs at 7 a.m. Veterans and guardians will begin checking in at 5:15 to 5:30 a.m. for processing.
The estimated time of return is 10:45 p.m. (barring any delays) that evening. Honor Flight invites everybody to come out to the Eastern Iowa Airport that evening to welcome home and thank these veterans for their service. Parking is free for those participating in the welcome home. Stop by the information desk in the terminal to pick up your free parking pass. Then when you leave, present that pass, along with the ticket you received when entering the lot, to the parking lot personnel and you will not be charged.
