Horns to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
ANNIVERSARY
Francis and Kathy Horn of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 1.
Kathy Hervey and Francis Horn were married on July 1, 1971 at the Methodist Church in Keosauqua. They were married on Francis’ parents 35th wedding anniversary. Francis is a retired contractor/builder and Kathy is retired from teaching in the Fairfield Community School District.
The couple’s children are Chris and Melissa Horn of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and Angie and Monty Deuser of West Des Moines. They have four grandchildren: Cooper and Colby Horn and Becca and Nate Deuser.
The couple are celebrating their anniversary with a train trip to the northwest states to tour the national parks.
