Hospice to host luncheon in Kalona

Iowa City Hospice is hosting a luncheon for all bereaved individuals in the community at 11:30 a.m. Sept 24, at The Kalona Bakery in Kalona.

Many people who are struggling with grief and loss find it helpful to have social outlets, such as this luncheon, where support is available. This luncheon provides an opportunity for bereaved to meet one another and share common experiences. Hospice has tables reserved especially for this group and participants will be greeted by Iowa City Hospice staff. This luncheon is ongoing, meeting every other month. The bakery offers a wide variety of delicious and affordable meals.
