Immanuel Lutheran Church sets Spring Rally

The Lutheran Women?s Missionary League, Mount Pleasant Zone, will hold its Spring Rally on April 9 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Hosted by the Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Circle, the day begins at 9 a.m. with devotions and concludes with lunch at noon.

Sherry L. Johnson from Lutherans for Life in Iowa will be speaking on end-of-life issues. In addition to the speaker, the rally will include Bible study, a Christian growth presentation and business meeting. The day?s theme is based on a passage from Isaiah 43:1, ?I have called you by name, you are mine.?

The Lutheran Women?s Missionary League is an official auxiliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It is an organization that focuses on developing and maintaining a greater mission consciousness among the women of the church through mission education, mission inspiration, and mission service and gathering funds to support adopted mission grants both in the U.S. and worldwide.
