The intent was not to fill people?s bellies with fresh food for a celebration. The vendors were taking advantage of those traveling to the Thanksgiving Day celebration, charging them before they got in the door.
Jesus got angry. He got himself some leather and sharp pieces of glass and metal. He braided a scourge with them. Then he used it to drive out the sellers. He said, ?This is my Dad?s home.?
