Nathaniel missed the sarcasm and took it as a compliment. He said, ?How do you know me?? The implication being ?I am so forthright.? He was straightforward, about what he thought he knew.
Have you ever said something then wished you could take back your words? Nathaniel only had part of the story. Later he would realize his error. Who he diminished as coming from a garbage heap was truly a treasure hunter?s rare find.
