Six members of Iowa J, National T.T.T. Society met Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Wayland Community Center.
Two special guests joined us briefly. Madison Miller, a WACO Junior, and her mother, Jennifer Miller, came to tell us that Madison is doing a Service Project through school to aid a nonprofit organization, and she has chosen our T.T.T. Chapter as her project. She is going to be placing boxes for cans and bottles around town and when she redeems them, she will be giving the money to Iowa J for our national project of sending girls to camp! Thank You Madison!!!!
At the regular meeting, President Georgia Fort gave a very brief report of the July 22, 2025 meeting in the absence of Minutes due to Recording Secretary Tracy Hill’s absence.
Lori Messer gave her Treasurer’s report which was approved as given and filed for audit.
Ways and Means, a tip night at Pizza Ranch was discussed.
Following discussion, a motion was made and seconded to change the chapter’s regular meeting time to 6 p.m. It carried unanimously and will be changed in the Chapter’s Standing Rules, effective immediately.
Due to circumstances for October, a slate of officers was presented for the 2025-2026 year, as: President, Georgia Fort; Vice President, Judith Hueholt; Recording Secretary/Historian, Cori Kuntz; Treasurer/Corresponding Secretary, Lori Messer. There being no nominations for any office from the floor, the president instructed the recording secretary to cast the elective ballot. So done, and officers were duly elected. An Installation Service will be held at the November meeting.
Due to the November meeting falling so close to Thanksgiving, it was unanimously accepted to move the November meeting to Nov. 11, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Wayland Community Room.
The December meeting/Christmas party was discussed and unanimously decided to be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. at Your Choice Restaurant in Wayland. The usual grab bag gift exchange will be done.
Meeting closed with repeating the Closing Creed.
