Iowa J, T.T.T. hosts State Officer

Seven members of Iowa J, Wayland, of the National T.T.T. Society met at the Wayland Community Center at 6 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2026. Iowa State Vice-President Connie Krieger was a special guest. Sword of Gold was sung and President Georgia opened the meeting with a reading entitled, “Train of Life.”

Recording Secretary Cori took roll call and read minutes of the Dec. 6, 2025 meeting.

State VP Connie reviewed some things with us regarding chapter happenings. She said the call to state convention would be coming soon. State Convention will be April 10-11 at the Stoney Creek Hotel in Johnston, Iowa. Connie’s State Convention will be in Ottumwa at the Bridgeview Center in April of 2027. Tidbits and Tales should be out Feb. 7; and will also contain state convention registration information.

Treasurer Lori gave her report which will be filed for audit. A Memorial Gift in Memory of Kenneth Fischer, husband of Iowa J member Donna J. Fischer, will be sent to the National Project Fund.

There will only be one camp session this year for T.T.T. at Bear Creek Camp from June 7 to 12. Iowa J has a camper selected, and plans are to car pool with Chapter L getting the girls to and from camp.

Ways and Means: WACO Junior Madison Miller is collecting bottles and cans at 4 M Plumbing shop as a fundraiser designated to chapter Iowa J.

Motion made and approved to give a donation to WACO After Prom in honor of former campers who are members of the Senior and Junior Classes at WACO.

Next regular meeting will be held Feb. 24, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Wayland Community Center. Meeting closed with repeating the Closing Creed. T.T.T. Grace was given and all present enjoyed a wide array of finger foods and desserts. The rest of the evening was spent enjoying visiting with our Iowa State Vice-President.
