Iowa Wesleyan University Music Department to present annual Valentine?s Day Dinner

?Dance with Me Tonight," the Iowa Wesleyan University (IWU) Choir?s annual Valentine?s Day Fund-Raising Dinner will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11, in the Fellowship Hall, at First United Methodist Church, in Mt. Pleasant.

This year?s dinner will feature musical selections performed by soloists and several IWU music ensembles, including the Broad Street Connection, IWU Jazz Big Band and IWU Jazz Combo. The IWU/Mt. Pleasant Faculty-Alumni Jazz Ensemble will once again perform at the end of the evening.

The hall, as always, will be decorated for the occasion.

The evening will include a chicken-rice pilaf dinner with vegetables and cheesecake dessert served by formally dressed members of the Iowa Wesleyan University Choir. A limited number of vegetarian dinners will be available by calling the Iowa Wesleyan University Choral Office at 319-385-6354.

Tickets are available from Iowa Wesleyan University Choir members, the First United Methodist Church office, and Brown?s Shoe Fit on the square, in Mt. Pleasant.

All proceeds go to the IWU Music Department. Doors open at 6 p.m., and serving begins at 6:30 p.m.
