The First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant is hosting an auction for Iowa Welcomes its Immigrant Neighbors on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6-9 p.m.

Items include tools, furniture and services such as meals (some of which can be delivered to the home) and even a half-hour airplane ride.

All proceeds go to help the families of men detained by the ICE raid in May to pay for their ongoing living expenses.

The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m., and before that, food courtesy of Jerry's Pizza. Freewill offerings are accepted.
