Irvin Leichty to turn 80
Irvin Leichty will celebrate his 80th birthday on June 14. A card shower is planned in honor of him. Cards may be sent to him at 1026 Graham Ave., Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641.
Irvin was born June 14, 1941, in Noble, Iowa, the son of Leonard and Ruth Leichty.
He married Lucy Miller in 1967. He has two children: son Kurt Leichty and wife Beth of Mt. Pleasant and daughter Ronda West and husband Bret of Mt. Pleasant.
He has six grandchildren: Taylor, Kayla, Kaden and Morgan Leichty and Nicholas and Natalie West.
He has been a lifelong resident of Mt. Pleasant and owner/operator of Leichty and Son Construction.
