IWU to host free class on Islam during the month of April
The Henry County Ministerial Association, in partnership with Iowa Wesleyan University, will be co-sponsoring an informational class on the teachings of Islam.
The class is free and open to the public, and will seek humbly to understand how Christians and Muslims can best relate to one another. The intent of this study is to help Christians gain a deeper understanding of Islam.

The Henry County Ministerial Association, in partnership with Iowa Wesleyan University, will be co-sponsoring an informational class on the teachings of Islam.
The class is free and open to the public, and will seek humbly to understand how Christians and Muslims can best relate to one another. The intent of this study is to help Christians gain a deeper understanding of Islam.
There will be a question and answer session with an Imam Hassan, leader of the Islamic Center, in Cedar Rapids, on April 25. All are welcome from every faith.
All classes will be held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m., in Iowa Wesleyan University?s Chadwick Library.
The following topics will be discussed in conjunction with the class:
?April 4 - Intro to History of Islam
?April 11- Intro to Texts and Traditions
?April 18 - Diversity of Islam in the Modern World
?April 25 - Imam Hassan question and answer session
?May 2 - Visit the Islamic Center in Cedar Rapids (the class will depart at 5 p.m.)
