Jackson Jets 4-H Club
The Jackson Jets 4-H Club met Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Washington County Extension Building. The meeting was called to order by president Emma Stout at 5:30 p.m. Teegan Sulentich led the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call was taken.

The Jackson Jets 4-H Club met Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Washington County Extension Building. The meeting was called to order by president Emma Stout at 5:30 p.m. Teegan Sulentich led the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call was taken.
A report was given about the 4-H Fire Up, which is an event for new members. Several workshops are scheduled in February, including Photography on Feb. 21, Bucket Bottle on Feb. 26, and Poultry on Feb. 28. A Leadership Development meeting is scheduled for Feb. 23 for members interested in County Council or the ELITE Project Team. FSQA will be April 25, 8:15 a.m. to noon at the extension office for any members showing livestock at the fair.
The County 4-H Dodgeball Tournament will be held at 1 p.m. March 8, and interested members signed up at the meeting. A report was given on the successful Father-Daughter Winter Dance. A club donation to the Spring Cattle Show was voted on and approved.
Presentations were given by Breana and Brooke Stout, Kids Against Hunger; Jameson Spenner, Agriculture in Iowa; and Emma Stout, Eating Healthy. Jordan Stout and Grant Marek led the program on giving presentations.
The next meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 8 in the Extension Building.
