Fairfield — Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC) is pleased to announce a Launch Event to celebrate its future opening of JCHC Clinic | Ottumwa. The event will take place on Monday, Oct. 27, from 4:30 — 6 p.m. at the future clinic site, 1000 Wildwood Drive in Ottumwa. This event is open to all community members, business leaders, and media representatives.
The JCHC Launch Event will mark a major milestone in the organization’s ongoing effort to expand access to high-quality, compassionate primary care throughout the region. The new Ottumwa Clinic — set to open in Spring 2026 — reflects JCHC’s mission to meet patients where they are and strengthen the overall health and well-being of the communities it serves.
“Our decision to open a clinic in Ottumwa was driven by what we heard directly from community members and business leaders,” said Bryan Hunger, Chief Executive Officer at JCHC. “People want more choices for care, easier access to providers, and health care partners who are visible and invested locally. That’s exactly what JCHC intends to deliver.”
The new clinic will offer comprehensive primary care services, convenient online scheduling, and the trusted patient-centered approach that defines JCHC’s care model.
The JCHC Clinic | Ottumwa Launch Event is more than a ceremonial milestone — it’s a celebration of collaboration and community. Attendees will hear remarks from JCHC leadership, and community partners, as well as an opportunity for guests to meet members of the JCHC team and enjoy light refreshments.
“This event is about celebrating progress and partnership,” said Hunger. “It’s an opportunity to say thank you to Ottumwa’s leaders, residents, and organizations who have welcomed us and share in our vision for a healthier community.”
