On Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Jefferson County Farm Bureau invites families and community members to join them at the Fairfield Farmers Market for an afternoon of fun, learning, and local engagement. The event will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. at Howard Park on E Grimes Avenue.
This interactive experience is designed for both children and adults, offering a unique opportunity to explore the world of pigs and the many products they help create. Visitors can stop by the Farm Bureau booth, hosted by select board members and Outreach Coordinator Hailey Shultz, to test their pig knowledge, learn about pig byproducts, and take home a sample item.
In addition to the pig-themed activities, attendees will have access to information about Jefferson County Farm Bureau, its mission, and its impact on the local community.
