Jefferson County Democrats meet

The Jefferson County Democrats’ Central Committee met for its regular meeting by Zoom on Sept. 30. The group heard from several School Board and City Council candidates for the upcoming Nov. 2 election. Reports of the standing sub-committees were given.
“Drive-by Supper” was served by the Jefferson County Democrats on Sept. 14. The group strives to serve quarterly. Eighty meals were distributed as hungry people drove by.
