Jefferson County Fairgrounds to host 2024 Trunk or Treat Oct. 18

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for Jefferson County is looking for businesses and organizations to participate in their annual Trunk or Treat event to be held on Friday, Oct. 18 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Join in the fun by giving out candy, pencils, stickers, etc. to youth who will be dressed in their costumes.
In past years, as many as 700 kids have attended this event. In addition to businesses and organizations giving out candy to youth, there will be games, a photo booth, and treats for youth and their families.
Set-up will start anytime in the afternoon, with youth and their families attending the event from 5-7 PM. If you are interested in having a booth for this year’s event, please call (641) 472-4166 or email Jeri Crile at jcrile@iastate.edu. Set up for this event is free.
