The March meeting of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Women was held Tuesday at the Pizza Ranch in Fairfield.
Phyllis Harris, co-president, called the meeting to order.
Roll call was answered by 11 members. Two guests present.

The March meeting of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Women was held Tuesday at the Pizza Ranch in Fairfield.
Phyllis Harris, co-president, called the meeting to order.
Roll call was answered by 11 members. Two guests present.
Julie Fiske, acting secretary for February?s meeting, read the minutes.
Harris read a birthday card thank-you from Doris Johnson.
Members were asked to sign up for a state Farm Bureau committee of their choice. Members are urged to bring short reports to the meetings, concerning these committee topics, that might be of interest to the larger group.
Harris announced Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store?s ?Farmers Share a Breakfast? will be from 6-8 a.m. Tuesday. Members are welcome to attend.
The group is pursuing a field trip to the World Food Building in Des Moines. The cost to hire a bus will be absorbed by the Farm Bureau budget. Members were asked to consider a best time of year to hold the event.
Next month?s meeting will be hosted by Christine Schiedel at 11:30 a.m. April 1 at Hy-Vee for lunch. Dee Johnson Sandquist, Hy-Vee?s dietician, will give the program.
Mary Carol Fish presented a program on their Viking River Cruise trip to China this past year.
