Jefferson County Farm Bureau Women meet

Jefferson County Farm Bureau Women met Nov. 5 at Riverside Family Restaurant III for lunch and a meeting. Members answered roll call with information about natural resources and manufacturing in Portugal. Shirley Stanley reported on furnishing decorated vehicle and participating with Sandy Nelson and Taryn Reed, to hand out candy at the Trunk or Treat held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Oct. 26.

The members discussed changing December meeting to Tuesday, Dec. 10, with members bringing food for a potluck luncheon at the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Office. Roll call will be favorite Christmas gift received.

The program was given by Lori Padget of Jefferson County ISU Extension Office about programs available and information that can be received by a computer or phone Answer Line. She handed out copies of Wellness Newsletter, Answer Line cards, refrigeration website magnets, notepads and pens.
