Jefferson County ISU Extension to host open house April 17

Jefferson County ISU Extension and Outreach will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17 to celebrate Extension Week.

The public is invited to stop by the Jefferson County Extension Office, located at 2606 West Burlington Avenue in Fairfield, meet Extension staff and Council Members, and learn about all of the programs they have to offer.

The Extension Office will have free giveaways and drawings. The Chick-fil-A food truck will be there from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with food available for purchase.

Extension Week also takes place during National Volunteer Week. Jefferson County Extension will be recognizing all of their many volunteers during that week, as well for their time and dedication to Extension and the 4-H program.
