Jefferson County Park to host fall bird hike Wednesday

Residents are invited to join Kelly McKay from 'Building Better Birders” as he guides a bird hike in Jefferson County Park. The program will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. and will meet at the Jefferson County Park Nature Center.
Participants should bring along their binoculars and dress for fall weather. Staff will have a few extra binoculars if participants do not have a pair. Participants will be asked to wear a mask if they are not allowed to social distance.
Funding for this workshop was provided by the Resource Enhancement and Protection – Conservation Education Program (REAP – CEP). This workshop will be conducted by Kelly McKay (BioEco Research and Monitoring Center), with assistance from Mark Roberts (Clinton County Conservation) and Brian Ritter (Nahant Marsh Education Center).
