Jefferson County Park to host program on birds

Joan Schnabel, a certified raptor educator, will be at the Jefferson County Park Nature Center on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. Schnabel will present a program featuring two of her avian partners.

Participants will learn about each bird, why they are in captivity, species traits and individual personalities as well as general information about raptors. Program will run 30-40 minutes with time after for more questions and a closer look at the birds. For the best interest of the birds the program is open to ages 4-adult. Please be on time for the program.
