Jefferson County Right to Life receives more than 4,800 donated diapers
Jefferson County Right to Life held a diaper drive Saturday, May at the Fairfield Walmart. More than $475 in cash and more than 4,800 diapers were donated to local pregnancy centers, as well as baby wipes and baby food.
Karen Crossland, president of Jefferson County Right to Life, said the group appreciates the generosity of the community, and thanked Walmart for allowing it to hold the diaper drive at the store.
“New mothers in our community and surrounding communities are most appreciative,” she said.
