Jefferson County Right to Life to hold Life Chain Sunday

To mark the end of the Fall Campaign of 40 Days for Life and to commemorate Life Chain Sunday, Jefferson County Right to Life will be praying in downtown Fairfield on Sunday, Oct. 31, from 1 to 2 p.m. The group announced in a news release that it will be praying for an end to abortion.

“Meet us at the city parking lot south of First National Bank at 12:45 p.m. for opening prayer and to pick up a pro-life sign that will be provided,” stated the group in the news release. “We will then walk to Burlington Avenue for peaceful, silent witness and prayer.” Residents are invited to bring a chair if it is difficult for them to stand for an hour.
