The Jefferson County Tobacco Coalition?s quarterly meeting set for 12:45 p.m. at the Jefferson County ISU Extension Office is open to anyone who would like to reduce and eliminate tobacco products across the county.
Youth tobacco usage takes many forms. Tobacco companies in an attempt to keep increasing profits have started to market new products. Most of the new products do not even resemble traditional tobacco products; be it dissolvable strips, nicotine replacement gum or spitless tobacco, all are designed to deliver nicotine and keep people addicted to their products, said Ken Daley of the Jefferson County Tobacco Coalition.
