A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 9, at the Faith Christian Outreach Church, in Mt. Pleasant. Rev. Monte Knudsen will officiate. Jennifer Sue Box, 34, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 9, at the Faith Christian Outreach Church, in Mt. Pleasant. Rev. Monte Knudsen will officiate. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery, in Bonaparte. Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m., on Thursday, at the Kimzey Funeral Home, in Mt. Pleasant. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday evening.

Box was born on April 28, 1981, in Iowa City, the daughter of Michael Joseph and Sharon Esther (Stevens) Box. On Sept. 24, 2010, at Saunders Park, in Mt. Pleasant, she married James Anthony Kazmierczak.
She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed listening to music, playing bingo, collecting butterfly memorabilia and being near family and friends.
Box is survived by her husband, James Anthony Box, of Mt. Pleasant; five sons, Tanner Michael Box; Donovan James Box; Anthony James Box; and Joseph Aedan Box, all of Mt. Pleasant; and Preston James DeCoursey, of Burlington; her mother and step-father, Sharon and Dennis Detrick, of Mt. Pleasant; her father and step-mother, Michael and Marilyn Box, of Burlington; her siblings, Michael Box II; Natalie (Mauricio) Cabrera-Acosta; Brittany (Brad) Miller; and Samantha (Nick) Ferch, all of Mt. Pleasant; and Zachary (Ashley) Box, of West Burlington; grandparents, Edward and Sally Box, of Burlington; and serveral step-sisters.
She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Jacob Odie Box; and grandparents, Roger and Susie May Stevens.
